Position Summary:

Develops, implements, and leads successful distribution operations to ensure efficient and economical utilization for storing and delivering inventory. Directs and controls activities in multiple facilities, with complex accounts, and large numbers of employees. Significant revenue responsibility as well as managing vendor contracts, and necessary vendor paperwork; i.e. NDAs, certificates of insurance, etc. Position will also monitor volume for respective restaurants and vendors, while ensuring restaurants and vendor contract compliance.

Qualification Requirements:

  • Strong computer skills including the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to manage vendor relationships resulting in high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Ability to manage customer relationships
  • Knowledge of logistic, supply chain and inventory methods and roles
  • Ability to plan and control logistics
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, solve problems, make recommendations, and draw valid conclusions in a timely and accurate manner
  • Must possess strong analytical skills including experience creating reports, efficiently communicating results through the use of supporting tables, graphs, and presentation quality materials
  • Ability to develop and implement effective business strategies which call for coordination of activity across multiple functional areas
  • Ability to influence, collaborate and interact with numerous levels of the organization, building strong cross-functional relationships between teams
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Essential Duties:

  • Develops operational goals and plans, monitors and communicates operations performance against plan (returns, shipments, receipts, and inventory levels)
  • Monitors sub-out and product compliance to negotiated contracts
  • Monitors delivery KPI for distribution vendors, Fill Rate, On Time Rate, drop size, On-Time/In-Full (OTIF), etc.
  • Understands supply readiness success and develop methods to measure and enhance
  • Acts as a liaison between restaurants and distribution vendors
  • Creates and executes ad hoc import Logistic plans to meet demand changes and/or supply disruptions, and react quickly when market conditions are changing
  • Owns the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) between Supply Chain Back Office Solution and Distribution solution and vendor partners
  • Monitors margins, sets priorities, and coordinates with various functions to improve efficiency
  • Develops and executes category and distribution plans, providing customer service, participating in reviews and revisions of Scope of Work (SOW), reporting financial performance, monitoring system performance, coordinating special projects as requested, and resolving problems
  • Supports forecasting process to enable product launches and guest facing promotions
  • Performs spend analyses to identify potential sourcing activities and benchmark relevant supplier markets to assess and enable best practice adoption
  • Creates Logistic Reports, Policies, Procedures, and key performance measurements that support delivering best in class customer results, while strengthening the Craftworks Brand
  • Responsible for financial administration and functional administration
  • Leads/ Supports periodic Request for Proposal (RFP) activity to evaluate and select 3rd party Logistics, vendor, and manufacturer providers
  • Provides reliable and cost effective inbound transportation options (ocean, rail, road, and air) to ensure product is available as scheduled
  • Builds strong cross functional relationships
  • Supports Recall team with updates as needed for emergency product concerns
  • Supports culture and daily/weekly communication
  • Other duties as assigned
