Job Description

The Supply Chain Coordinator assists in the entry of inventory transfers, managing inventory levels by DC, and communication of item availability to the publishing group. The role will also support the Director of Remainder Sales preparing information for customer order entry and sales materials.

Essential Functions:

  • Maintain process for DC to DC transfers, stock balancing or inventory relief in case of shipment delays.
  • Manage offline tools used to show stock availability by DC.
  • Maintain ongoing issue tracker log and follow up on pending issues.
  • Help maintain internal operational SOP's (Standard Operational Procedures).
  • Prepares Inventory reporting by Customer and facilitates development of new reporting using offline tools.
  • Responsible for on-demand research and reporting requests.
  • Support the publishing group by taking on extra tasks, as needed

Non-Essential Functions:

  • Bachelor's (BA/BS) degree or demonstrated work experience
  • Strong PC skills with Microsoft Excel and other data-oriented software programs.
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Flexible and adaptable, able to change and alter according to changes in projects or business environment and able to complete multiple duties with accuracy shifting from one to another with frequent interruptions and competing deadlines.
  • Excellent written communication and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize duties with minimal supervision, in order to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures.

Language Skills:

  • Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to speak with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence

Physical Requirements:

  • Work could be performed while sitting, standing or walking.
  • Work performed will entail fine manipulation of hands and/or fingers, as well as repetitive hand action. It will additionally entail bending, twisting, squatting and climbing, as well as upper and lower body mobility.

Reasoning Ability:

  • Problem solving - the individual identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner, gathers and analyzes information skillfully and maintains confidentiality.
