**This is a six-month contract with possibility of extension or conversion.**

The System Administrator II position is responsible for working to assure effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of server and network systems hardware and software and related infrastructure. This individual will be knowledgeable of technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure. This individual ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values and thereby enable staff, volunteers, and Partners.


  • Advanced experience with Server 2012 R2, Active Directory 2008 and higher and hands on knowledge of Hyper-V or VMware technology
  • Knowledge and/or hands-on with enterprise monitoring systems
  • Experience supporting network environment setup for Windows 7 Desktops
  • Windows powershell scripting skills.
  • Understanding of Group Policy Object control of Windows environment.
  • Planning, build out, and decommissioning for server lifecycle processes
  • Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.
  • Planning and organization skills.
  • Ability to analyze, diagnose, and do own research for solutions
