ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The IT Systems Administrator is responsible for the configuration, operation, and maintenance of software applications and related infrastructure in our 100+ essential employee call center. Ensuring continual 24x7 call center operation requires daily and scheduled operations, provisioning, operations, support and maintenance.


  • Provide multiple level support to agents in the call center. Troubleshoot call center software application Mitel and related issues. Maintain internal infrastructure requirements including, laptop and desktop computers, servers, routers, switches, firewalls, printers, phones, security updates; support internet, intranet, LANs, WANs, and network segments

    2. Ability to install, configure and maintain networking equipment, switches, routers and firewalls. Troubleshoot problems arising from the malfunction of the servers and applications.

    3. Act as the focal point of contact for reporting tickets to vendors and equipment manufacturers. Follow up with vendors to insure issues are resolved.

    4. As an integral member of the IT department, you will support server and application upgrades and other technical issues related to the call center. A team player is a must for this role.

    6. Ability to install and maintain internal infrastructure requirements including, laptop and desktop computers, servers, routers, switches, firewalls, printers, phones, security updates; support internet, intranet, LANs, WANs, and network segments.

  • 7. Knowledge of Powershell scripting for automation.

    8. Plans for future system needs, continuously monitors and fine-tunes the network and its assets, ensures the system is secure from outside threats, and reacts quickly to system outages

    9. Perform network address assignment and routing protocols and routing table configuration

    10. Availability outside of working hours to promptly resolve emergency issues

    Knowledge of the following systems is required:

    • Call center phone systems
    • Unix system administration
    • Powershell scripting for automation
    • VmWare
    • vSphere infrastructure 6.x version
    • HW support tools
    • iSCSI SANS; Dell EQ and NetApp knowledge is a plus
