Job Snapshot

Job Description

Immediate need for consultant to manage Tableau for executive facing reporting/dashboarding. If a candidate has experience building out data warehouse/layering in Tableau that would be preferable.

Main stakeholders in immediate future are C-suite and board members - hence the emphasis on Business Analyst skills. The data they're tracking and dashboarding include 5 agreed upon KPI's that allow them to match/monitor/track physician referrals and shipments, CRM activity. Business value of data is full picture visibility end-to-end from lead gen to shipment of product. Longerterm, they will expand out the reporting capabilities to the field (100 sales reps). Visibility into their portion of the puzzle - compliance regs mean some data has to be hidden from them but eventually they'll have access to what they need to.

Immediate Priorities & Responsibilities: Keep reporting/dashboarding moving and available. Same day/ad-hoc requests common. Tableau experience is required for this reason and they're not sure how long current resource will overlap. Likely to transition out at thanksgiving.

* Reporting - the primary focus for this person will be to build and maintain reporting dashboards using Tableau and Excel; Tableau certification preferred.
* Business analyst capability - this person will need to interface with executive team members to extract business requirements for reporting, turn those business requirements to technical requirements, then build the dashboard reporting in Tableau
* Database understanding - this person will need to understand database concepts such as table joins, data structure, data ingestion and data cleaning in order to build reports using data from various data sources. Currently, data is coming in from 3rd party data aggregator (ProMetrics) as well as their CRM.
