Tax Compliance Manager

Job Duties:

• Assist w/preparation of quarterly & annual income tax provision work papers as requested
• Prepare and/or review and file consolidated federal tax return, and multi-state tax returns.
• Review estimate and extensions staff input into individual entity returns
• Prepare and/or review various state work papers needed for tax return
• Prepare and/or review and file foreign bank account reporting for company
• Prepare and/or review and file quarterly income tax estimates based on provision work paper.
• Prepare and send work papers needed for outside vendor to file all property tax returns. Manage property tax.
• Prepare Income/Expense Rental Reports as requested by various state counties.
• Prepare balance sheet data for various state annual reports requested by legal department for outside vendor.
• Review sales tax return work papers prepared by staff.
• Respond to all correspondence received with various federal and state agencies
• Update monthly professional fees accrual
• Update cash taxes paid monthly and forward to Manager of Financial Reporting
• Handle state audits as needed
• Tax research as needed
• Assist with coordination of all tax filings and due date listings

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• CPA license
• 3-5 years tax experience with public CPA firm or public/private experience
• Proficient with MS Office and tax research software
