  • YOUR JOB:

    Leadership

    Responsible for delivery of services and meeting business goals and performance targets. Responsible for designing the interaction with other services across squads - point of contact for outside squads.
    • Ensure dependencies on other squads are identified and communicated and raises issues on priority and dependencies that can't be resolved by the team to the Product Leadership team
    • Work with the "leaders" on those squads (AO/PO/TO) to ensure participation in the initiative planning and review cycles
    • Focused on software architecture that their squad owns
    • Accountable for understanding architectural principles and working within governance processes
    • Works closely with Enterprise Architects
    • Responsible for technical coaching of Dev, QA and Test Automation engineers
    • Codes more than 50% of their time
    • Partner with the Squad PO on these responsibilities:Ensuring decisions are made with the greater business goals in mindEnsuring the appropriate cross-squad SME's are pulled into the decision processDeciding if the team can't come to agreement, and seeks out proper escalation pathsCommunicating major decisions and changes to the business model to appropriate levels of management
    Coding
    • Design and develop high quality software
    • Participate in an agile software development team
    • Collaborate and communicate with team members and others in the organization
    • Test and code review other team member's work
    • Provide technical expertise and recommendations
    • Debug and troubleshoot software issues
    • Mentor and assist others
    • Develop software documentation
    You Offer

    Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar field
    • Minimum 1-2 years' experience leading a team
    • Minimum 5 years' experience in full stack web development
    • Experience building data driven applications
    • Experience working within an agile development methodology
    • Experience with AngularJS or other modern front-end web framework
    • Experience in C#, Java, or other modern OO language
    • Strong technical and analytical capabilities
    • Ability to work well within a team, strong communication skills
    • Creative, motivated, self-starter with strong attention to detail
    • A passion for excellence in software development
    Preferred Skills
    • Experience with ASP.NET MVC, Web API, Entity Framework
    • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
    • Experience with HTML5/CSS3
    • Experience with SASS, LESS, or other CSS preprocessors
    • Experience with Gulp/Grunt/NodeJS
    • Experience with automated testing and/or TDD
    • Experience with Git source control
    • Experience in Scrum/Kanban development methodology
    • Experience building native iOS or Android applications
    • Experience developing commercial SaaS products
    • Experience developing accounting/billing software
    • Experience developing healthcare software
