This is remote through the fall but candiates must be located in the Tampa Bay area.

Role Responsibilities
The incumbent develops business plans, marketing strategy, and financial forecasts. By using a Pragmatic Marketing approach, they conduct market research, competitive analysis and create comprehensive product positioning that ensures strategic plans are focused on the highest value yield for stakeholders and owners. This position also involves developing and communicating product roadmaps to a wide variety of audiences. A strong focus on creating and overseeing commercialization and sales support efforts to drive profitability and penetration results is essential.
The ideal candidate will be a subject-matter expert in their domain, a thought leader with a deep understanding of their product suite, someone skilled in synthesizing information and adept at facilitation and presentation.
  • Work with member product owners, enterprise architects, credit unions and advisory group credit unions for select market evaluation, research, surveys, focus groups, and pilot testing
  • Interview end users, member-owners and stakeholders to define and refine business needs through requirements gathering and analysis to define project scope and feasibility
  • Engage with Product leadership and senior business leadership to communicate product strategy, direction and changes; ensure projects align to short-term and long-term product development strategy and objectives
  • Partner with EPMO to ensure projects are completed within established time and budget schedules, including activity definition, activity sequencing, and activity duration estimations; Complete resource planning, cost estimations, and cost budgets for assigned projects; Ensure assigned projects follow project management standards, utilizing Agile, Waterfall and other methodologies as required
  • Partner with Project Managers to effectively resolve project issues; Provide insight and direction during complex product development projects; Serve as a key consultant within the various business, product and technology units
  • Interface with cross functional groups to communicate and ensure successful project deliverables and manage expectations responsibly. Strong verbal and written communication skills that non-technical end users can understand
  • Assist Product Management Leaders in analyzing the business processes for inefficiencies and make recommendations for solutions or improvements
  • Develop beneficial working relationships with key interface groups and outside vendors in order to maximize knowledge base and identify all opportunities
  • Ensure continuity of services by serving as a subject matter expert on business functionality and impact of system changes on multiple product platforms
  • Mentor and lead team members and work collaboratively with Product Management staff
  • Develop strong working relationship with assigned business group operations, Enterprise Architects, Product Managers, Innovation Managers and Enterprise Project Managers to assist with project planning and scope management
  • Represent at conferences, tradeshows, and vendor negotiations that impact the development of new products and solutions, as assigned
  • Proactively develop and maintain technical knowledge in specialized area(s); Remain up-to-date on current Business Analysis trends and best practices
  • Performs other related duties and projects as requested by management

Role Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Technology, or related experience preferred.
  • Seven (7) years of product management/project management and/or business analysis experience required. Five (5) years of project management experience preferred. Experience with managing large scale technology projects (software/hardware) including beta testing required. Experience with the financial, credit union industry and core or account processing required.
  • Knowledge of API's, API Management and Web Service functionality
  • Experience with IBM- Web-sphere and portal technology a plus.

  • Ability to gain consensus through mediation, find creative and innovative solutions to issues and day to day challenges and identify issues and propose possible resolutions
  • Pragmatic Marketing and Design Thinking experience a plus
  • Consumer Minded: Demonstrated experience in building strategies and plans centered on consumer/customer needs. Understands the principles and practices of customer experience discipline and incorporates into product solutions
  • Technical expertise in wide variety of solutions.
