Vaco Technology is currently seeking a Technology Business Partner (TBS) | Shared Services for a Direct-Hire opportunity located in Irving, TX. The Technology Business Partner (TBS) | Shared Services will serve as the strategic interface with assigned functional areas for technology strategy development, solution discovery, and project / relationship / service management. The Technology Business Partner (TBS) | Shared Services will be the link, at the senior leadership level, between business units and technology. The Technology Business Partner (TBS) | Shared Services will serve as a Product Owner over the middle and back office solutions suite, including custom time gathering solutions, management / integrations, Lawson ERP Solution Suite, and High Radius (Client Invoice / Statements / Cash Application / Collection, etc.). The Technology Business Partner (TBS) | Shared Services will connect and represent the senior leaders accountable for the value stream business functions, utilizing the 4Ds (Discover / Design / Develop / Deploy) and the SDLC process to bring technology solutions to fruition that grow and transform the company. The Shared Services Work Stream requires strategic thought leadership to drive operational support through back office technologies of the Service Centers (Payroll / HR / Risk and Taxes / Client Billing / Collections / Cash Application). The Technology Business Partner (TBS) | Shared Services should have experience within automating processes in high-volume environments, cross-functional communication, and leadership.

  • Serve as a Trusted Advisor / Primary Technology POC to Business Line Executives / Senior Leaders
  • Create / Implement Solution Roadmaps
  • Partner with Architects / Developers to Support the Change Control Process to Design / Maintain Key Business Processes to Support End-to-End Lifecycle Management
  • Support Operational Governance Activities / Drive Consistent Definition / Process / Technology Usage / Quality Supported by Defined Quality Metrics / Scorecards
  • Direct Design of Operational Analytics / Root Cause Analysis to Identify / Assess Quality Issues
  • Interpret Business Operational Issues / Translate into Operational Quality and/or Effectiveness Issues / Identify Creative Solutions to Drive Improvements
  • Conduct Needs Assessments / Capacity Planning / Cost Benefit Analysis
  • Define User Requirements / Establish Technical Specs / Analyze and Enhance Productivity, Quality, and Shared-Service Standards
  • Write User Stories to Feed the SDLC Process / Prioritize the Backlog
  • Develop Solution Concepts / Business Cases for New Investments
  • Perform Business Analysis / Prepare Recommendations and Business Plans
  • Ensure Appropriate Controls are in Place to Safeguard Data Integrity / On-Going Compliance in Response to IT General Controls
  • Maintain / Improve Shared Services Operations
  • Monitor Systems Performance / Change Effectiveness - Support System Upgrade Installs
  • Identify / Resolve Process / Technology Problems - Prepare / Complete Action Plans
  • Complete Post-Implementation Audits / Analysis (Process / Technology)
  • Manage Systems / Process Improvements and Quality Assurance Programs
  • Collaborate with Architecture / Operations Teams to Ensure Solution Discovery / Design
  • Oversee Technical / Non-Technical Development of the Members of Share Services Work Stream Team - Create a Flexible Work Team with Highly Competent Team Members

  • Shared Services within the Staffing Industry (5+ years) - Industry Business Operations (knowledge) / Operational Issues / Solution Identification (understanding) / Effective Utilization of ERP / Support Back Office Solution
  • Leadership (3+ years) - Managing Teams / Business Units / Corporate Staff Executives Responsible for Strategic Planning / Business and/or Client Management Working within a Broad Range of Diverse / Complicated Business Units, etc.
  • Work with Senior-Level Management / Business Units / Corporate Staff Executives - Develop Technology Strategy that is Integrated with IT / Across All Business Units
  • Program / Project Management - Organize / Manage / Prioritize Multiple Tasks / Meeting Specific Timelines
  • Business Operations / Operational Issue (understanding / working knowledge) - Translate into Quality Problems
  • Assess / Design Business Processes / Standards / Policy Definition
  • Identify / Implement Key Strategic Initiatives to Drive Quality Improvement
