Technical Skills:

Strong working knowledge of business continuity practices, tools, and disaster recovery strategies.

Working knowledge of information technology; familiarity with networking, client-server architecture, directory services, databases, and data center operations.

Working knowledge of Identity and Access Management principles, practices and controls.

High level of proficiency with personal computers and MS Office applications.

3+ years in a Business Continuity role

1+ years in an Information Security or Governance role

Non-Technical Skills:

Strong critical analysis and creative reasoning skills. Proactive and resourceful in recognizing and resolving or escalating complex issues. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills and experience dealing successfully with individuals of varying technical abilities and job levels.

Results driven. Highly analytical. Able to work independently but can exhibit leadership qualities when working in groups. Naturally curious and desire to understand larger concepts and goals in order to adapt efforts and strategies for success. Accountable and desire to continuously improve as a professional.

About the team:

Technology Governance team is fairly new. The scope of responsibilities, processes, and solutions are continuously evolving. Team members should expect frequent change and to lead new initiatives that may not have ever been done at the organization before. This is an opportunity to help shape the BC Program and move it from baseline, manual processes to more automated methods of administering and maintain the program.
