Vaco Atlanta has an exclusive opportunity to find 3 Telecom Revenue Assurance Analysts for a telecom service provider located in Smyrna. The Telecom Analyst position is responsible for auditing, analyzing, and processing complex telecom invoices. This role offers flexible hours and competitive pay. Responsibilities:

  • Audit telecom carrier invoices to identify errors, locating and filing disputes, and confirming complete invoice accuracy
  • Identify and explain root cause of monthly invoice variances through recurring analytical review
  • Create detailed reports, using pivot tables, charts, and summaries to assist with review by executive management
  • Analyze incidents and trends to find errors and locate efficiencies
  • Troubleshoot both routine and complex billing issues
  • Collect data and prepare reports for senior leadership review
  • Monitor invoice corrections report and perform root cause analysis to permanently resolve issues
  • Communicate with vendors to address inconsistencies
  • Compare the vendor data to company's data to determine if there are any discrepancies
  • Identify cost savings and cost avoidance opportunities
  • Draft email correspondence for carriers
  • Manage or participate in related special projects
  • Provide suggestions for additional internal tools to analyze data
  • Other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Advanced skill-level in Excel is an absolute requirement
  • High attention to detail
  • Must excel in a fast-paced environment where critical thinking and strong problem-solving skills are required for success
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and time management
  • Previous Telecom experience is a plus, but not required
  • Ability to work well independently
  • Audit and/or Telecom billing experience preferred
