As a Benefits Specialist Temp, you will be responsible for day-to-day operations of group benefits programs (group health, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability, worker's compensation, life insurance, health savings account, flexible spending plan, 401(k) plans).

Additional responsibilities of the Benefits Specialist Temp include:

  • Serving as point of contact with vendors to resolve health insurance issues
  • Working in company database to track FMLA, STD, LTD, worker's comp, etc.
  • Complying with federal/state laws
  • Managing 401k plan
  • Working closely with the payroll team regarding deductions
  • Reconciling benefit invoices as needed
  • Serve as resource for employee population regarding benefits
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualification:
  • Minimum of two (2) years of benefits experience
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Knowledge and understanding of federal/state laws
  • Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail/accuracy
  • Helpful personality to help with problem-solving

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Three to five years of experience in benefits administration
  • Experience working in ADP Workforce Now or UltiPro
