Job Description

We are looking for a 3rd Shift Microsoft Systems Administrator experienced with Exchange and Office 365 Administration/Support. This is a contract-to-hire position at $300M private company in NW Atlanta with standard day shift hours + on-call rotation. The ideal candidate will have excellent communications skills, a willingness to learn, and a "customer-first" attitude. Responsibilities
  • Respond to Tier II and Tier III support tickets, but not shy to take on Tier I tickets if there is a large volume.
  • While working in conjunction with other team members, take ownership of critical support issues and major incidents to drive issues to resolution in accordance with SLA adherence.
  • Documentation of issues and resolutions
  • Install and deploy updates and patches
  • Identify automation opportunities within systems and network
  • Maintain process and configuration standards
  • Configuration and support of our internal applications including SharePoint, Microsoft 365, and CXT
  • Systems monitoring and verification
  • Maintain user permissions and account creation/changes/deletion
  • Adhere to established back-up and recovery plans

Requirements
  • 3+ years of systems administration supporting 300+ employees in a Microsoft environment
  • Experience working with Hyper-V, Windows Servers, Microsoft 365 and/or Exchange
  • Virtualization experience is a plus
  • TCP and/or IP knowledge is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the desire to work in a collaborative, team environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related work experience
