Job Description



Vaco is currently in search of a Tier II technical support representative for an MSP located in Virginia Beach, Va. Our client is interested in hiring someone on a contract to hire basis.

Responsibilities


  • Remotely troubleshoot hardware and software issues
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients calling in with hardware/software issues
  • Answer a high volume of incoming calls from internal clients
  • Provide Level One and Level Two support and escalate as needed
  • Provide excellent customer service always
  • Document details of all calls and update ticketing system appropriately

Qualifications

  • Excellent documentation, communication, and customer service skills
  • Experience providing technical support for MS Office365
  • Strong working knowledge of PC's and laptops
  • Ability to troubleshoot a wide range of technical issues remotely
  • Ability to think outside the box and identify root cause
  • Working knowledge of major networking components, network operating systems and basic computer hardware components
  • Prior experience with ticketing systems (Service Now, Remedy, ConnectWise, etc.)
  • Prior experience with Windows Operating Systems, MS Office, remote desktop services, and network troubleshooting
  • Secure remote access
  • Intermediate experience with iOS/Android mobile platforms
  • Windows PowerShell (basic)
