Job Description

Vaco Atlanta is seeking a Training and Development Analyst for a great client located in the Midtown area. This role is designed to support the Human Resources department by coordinating and delivering training strategies and initiatives. The T&D Analyst will work cross-functionally to organize, streamline, and deliver training electronically with a newly implemented system. This is a direct hire opportunity with a targeted salary of $70-$80k depending on experience.

Job Duties:

  • Determine training needs, such as core system training
  • Work with managers to determine training needs
  • Develop training materials and manuals for programs
  • Serve on internal committees such as Compliance and others, to represent training
  • Work with Information Technology and other areas to assist with the development of technical training
  • Deliver training to senior management and Board of Directors as needed
  • Facilitate or co-train with subject matter experts, as needed
  • Work closely with Compliance to ensure training meets regulatory requirements and internal policies
  • Collaborate with senior management to ascertain needs for additional training
  • Manage online training platform, including custom course creation
  • Provide required documents for audits and examiners relative to training materials and records needed for review
  • Supervise training department personnel
  • Develop, schedule and deliver training for corporate office and facilities
  • Document policies and procedures; create operational manuals
  • Research regulations and other requirements for use in writing procedures
  • Track, review and maintain employee training records, as well as external training
  • Review, manage, and track training conducted by Training and Development team or managers
  • Work cross-functionally to conduct training and development needs assessments
  • Design and implement training and educational methodologies and programs that enhance employee knowledge and skills, and create path for continuous learning and career progression
  • Create and execute an organizational learning strategy
  • Manage and support the assessment of organizational needs; and the design implementation and evaluation of programs that foster the professional development and continuous learning of staff, supervisors and emerging leaders
  • Work with the HR functional lead for the staff performance management structure and processes
  • Responsible for the development and delivery of performance management training and tools


  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years of experience delivering training and development
  • Must have working knowledge of performance management, various training platforms and experience in a variety of delivery tactics, leadership development training, learning management systems, data analytics, and change management
  • Must be highly skilled in facilitation, consulting and relationship building and have demonstrated ability to coach, facilitate and influence management and people at all levels
  • Outstanding oral and written communication, interpersonal, customer service, time management, and project management skills are essential. Also required are strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically
  • Must possess the ability to be comfortable managing difficult situations, while presenting a high level of professional maturity, resiliency and adaptability, and demonstrated ability to manage confidential and sensitive information
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, learning management systems, and applicable software programs
