Our client has an immediate need for an Transportation Sales Account Executive in Atlanta, GA. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and generating new sales revenue and profit. Needs to have a minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience of transportation or logistic sales experience and a book of business is a plus but not a requirement.

Job Description:
  • Develop and generate new sales revenue and profit for the division

  • Create a new growth plan with senior management to achieve sales goals
  • Prospect new opportunities through research and networking with an emphasis on use of digital/electronic tools
  • Create and be responsible for rate/service proposals properly utilizing company resources and transportation management system (TMS)
  • Manage account relationships seeking to expand support through consultative sales effort
  • Keep current with market conditions and business trends
  • Monitor shipments and resolve issues through working with team members
  • Properly utilize company resources to create rate/service proposals
