Job Description

Vaco Atlanta is seeking a Treasury Analyst for a great client in Marietta/Smyrna area. In this role you will daily monitoring of cash accounts, positive pay exceptions, and assisting with month end closing and reconciliations. This role is a direct hire and pay is from $60,000-$65,000.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for daily monitoring of cash accounts to maintain appropriate cash balances.
  • Performs both internal and external cash transfers efficiently to accommodate cash requirements.
  • Initiates wires and ACHs for management approval.
  • Prepares Daily Cash Position Report for senior management.
  • Responsible for monthly check reconciliation reporting.
  • Prepares biweekly payroll transfers, including the transfer of internal funds as appropriate for payroll accuracy.
  • Determines check and ACH positive pay exception decisions with banks. Provides information to auditors during the Tax Compliance audit.
  • Works with Accounts Payable and Compliance Departments to respond to yearly B-Notice from IRS.
  • Works toward automation of processes.
  • Coordinates POAs and tax agreements.

Basic Qualifications

  • BA/BS in Finance, Economics or a similar field
  • At least four years' experience in a finance-related field; additional banking and tax experience preferred.
  • The ability to self-start and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Keen attention to detail
  • MS Office with a particular focus on modeling in Excel
  • Knowledge of Workday a plus

  • Knowledge of foreign exchange and/or fixed income market practices
