UI Engineer in Florida at Vaco

Job Description

Seeking a UI Engineer to join our Solutions Development team based remotely.

The UI Engineer's responsibilities include:

• Rapid prototype and iterate, from high-level concept to working UI
• Collaborate with team to drive for the best possible end-user experience
• Design and implement React based UI components for a highly interactive user experience
• Drive API definition for communication to back-end
• Optimize front-end applications for speed, scalability, and reuse
• Participate in Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) working practices such as daily meetings, sprint planning meetings, reviews, and retrospectives
• Create architecture for design and product release deliverables consistent with SDLC standards, methodologies, and best practices
• Utilize good technical practices such as automated unit testing, code reviews, continuous integration, test automation, and source code control

Qualifications

• Experience developing commercial software products and building web UI
• Strong experience in React, Redux, GraphQL and other UI frameworks/libraries
• Experience in fast-paced startup environment a strong plus
• Mobile UI experience a strong plus
• Outstanding communication and time management skills; ability to work independently
• BS or MS in Computer Science or an equivalent field
