Job Description


In this role, you'll be responsible for designing intuitive and innovative products and features that improve the health of our participants and provide a measurable impact for employers and health plans.


  • Collaborate with Product Managers to create impactful user experiences that improve current features and deliver innovative new ones
  • Drive the design process from concepting through wireframing & prototyping to finalized visual design
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, user flows and storyboards as appropriate for each new project
  • Work cohesively with others on the Product team and the Technology teams to move new products and features through testing, iteration, development and delivery
  • Present your designs and defend your perspective within internal teams
  • Maintain and manage digital brand consistency including but not limited to typography, interface design, colors and best practices
  • Assist with user acceptance testing to ensure development meets expectations
  • Develop great working relationships with other teams including Technology, Project Success Managers, Coaching team, etc.

  • Research and keep current with user experience and behavioral design best practices in order to serve as a subject matter expert

  • Possessing a gift of being able to take an idea and turn it into a visual representation to more clearly convey an experience
  • Having the curiosity to learn about the wellness industry and employee healthcare to ensure all creative deliverables truly accomplish their goals
  • Maintaining a passion for great design and always wanting to tweak and improve previous design experience
  • Being organized and capable of effectively managing multiple projects and/or campaigns at one time
  • Be a self-starter who can complete multi-phased projects independently without supervision
  • Must be able to synthesize input from multiple sources (analytics data, customer insights, technical feasibility, legal consequences, etc.) in decision-making
  • Ability to collaborate with internal/external resources at all levels including project managers, technologists, business development, and executives
  • An interest in health improvement, especially related to population health

General office working conditions exist. Desk located in workstation area with little or no privacy. Involves extended periods of sitting at a workstation performing computer duties. Constant flow of interruptions by personnel, visitors to area and telephone calls.


Education: Bachelors degree in interaction design, digital design, human factors, or similar or others bachelors degree with similar experience


  • Must have a minimum of 4 years of UX/UI design experience
  • Must be proficient in Photoshop, Sketch, InVision, Omnigraffle, and/or other tools necessary for the position
  • Experience creating visual system, delivering beautiful, high fidelity, production-ready designs
