Vaco Indianapolis has an EXCITING CAREER OPPORTUNITY within the recruiting industry.


The Vaco Staffing Associate provides our clients with placement services on a contract, contract-to-hire and direct-hire basis for a wide variety of administrative and executive skill sets including general support, temp accounting, sales, management, customer service, marketing and human resources.

Experience in the recruitment of administrative/operational support professionals such as accounting, administration, logistics, and HR is preferred.

Position Summary:

The Associate for Vaco Staffing position will be responsible for recruiting, new business development, strategic account management. This includes engaging all appropriate levels of management to develop opportunities to increase and expand our client base and scope of services with both existing accounts and new prospects.

The successful individual works directly with managing team members and recruiters to present potential career opportunities - Great communication and teamwork is a must! The Associate for Vaco Staffing works directly with clients and job seekers to manage the placement processes from start to finish as well as providing special additional support where required.

Our ideal Associate for Vaco Staffing candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit, pace and intensity, and an aptitude for long-term relationship building.

Desired Competencies and Skills:

    • Written Communication: Develops written communication that is clear, concise, grammatical, and engaging.
    • Adaptability: Responds to changes, delays, or unexpected events in a positive manner; Adapts working style to best fit a given situation.
    • Planning/Organizing ‐ Prioritizes and plans work activities; Uses time efficiently; Plans for additional resources; Sets goals and objectives.

Technical Skills:

  • Must have working knowledge of MS Office Suite
  • Experience with Bullhorn preferred.

Basic Skills:

Able to work with a sense of urgency and meet tight deadlines; Organized, detailed, and results‐ driven. Must be able to manage time effectively and work independently without direct supervision.

Education/Experience

  • Experience in temp accounting, temp operations, administration recruiting required.
  • Bachelor's degree.
