Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Infrastructure engineer with comprehensive VMWare experience. This person will perform server and storage migrations, virtual machine migrations and configurations. You will also be installing agents on servers and configuring server hardware and Windows operating systems.



Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • 8 years experience in infrastructure projects


Required Skills

  • Experience on windows NT, 2003, 2008, 2012, 2016, 2019 server operating systems - Advanced level
  • VCenter, ESX, Virtual Switching, and VM Migrations - Advanced level
  • Server management experience on DMZ server environment - Intermediate knowledge
  • Experience on Test, Development and Production environments - Basic knowledge
  • Agent installations: SCCM, Sophos, Monitoring tools - Intermediate level
  • Storage configuration and migration (SAN, NAS) - Intermediate knowledge
  • IIS, Web hosting technologies (i.e. certificate services, Tomcat, Apache)
  • VMware vRealize - Basic knowledge
  • Hyper-V - Intermediate level
  • Active Directory - Advance knowledge
  • Dell Server Configuration - basic knowledge
  • Powershell Scripting - Advanced knowledge
  • Ability to troubleshoot infrastructure issues including network - Advanced Knowledge
  • VMware NSX
  • Working with SharePoint libraries
  • Network switch configuration
  • SolarWinds
  • AWS, Azure
  • Knowledge of Linux: RedHat, Ubuntu, and SUSI Linux - enough to install packages, change network info (i.e. default gateway)
