Job Description

We are currently seeking a VP of ERP Process Improvement & Implementation for a company located in Columbus, OH. Salary commensurate with experience. Target salary $140-180k Base + Bonus. Public accounting audit (Big 4 or large regional) and large corporate audit/ERP implementation experience required, CPA required, CIA, MAcc, MBA preferred, seeking 10-15 years' experience.

Work Authorization: U.S. Citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply. We are unable to sponsor at this time.

You will be responsible for firm-wide intiatives to enhance financial business processes, oversee ERP implementation, adherence to SOX/COSO compliance reporting and research. There is close interaction between Finance, Accounting and the internal audit department across all lines of business, along with executive management.

Responsibilities & duties include:

  • Creating, leading, and managing financial process improvement initiatives for the organization
  • Leading, mentoring, and managing the team
  • Project Management - designing plan, tracking status and execution
  • Management reporting
  • Conducting special investigations as necessary
  • Ensuring SOX/COSO/GAAS compliance for the corporate group
  • Understand accounting policies and procedures and current developments in the regulatory and external reporting environment
  • Training/coaching/mentoring staff
  • Preparing Metrics reporting & deck presentations for executive management
  • Maintain effective controls over financial reporting system and related business applications
  • Assist with a variety of other ad hoc projects

Qualifications and skills:

  • Bachelor in Accounting, Audit or Finance
  • CPA required,
  • MAcc/MSA or MBA preferred
  • 10-15 years' experience required
  • Public accounting audit experience or large corporate audit/ERP implementation experience required
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Impeccable analytical and organizational skills
  • Self-motivated and self-directed
  • Ability to work closely with a senior management team
