Job Description

Vaco Indianapolis has partnered with a company located in Indianapolis to fill a Warehouse Associate position.

This position is a full time / direct hire role.

The warehouse associate is responsible for shipping, receiving and stocking of products. Maximize space and efficiency for storing, shipping, and handling of customer products.

  • Verify accuracy of shipments
  • Maximize warehouse space and efficiency

  • Build or assemble production orders as needed
  • Learn and perform quality system requirements

Customer Pick Up Counter

  • Provide assistance and expertise to walk-in customers

Building Maintenance

  • Clean and maintain warehouse area

Other Duties

KEY PERFORMANCE MEASURES

Performance will be measured on the following:

  • Inventory accuracy must be a minimum of 97%
  • Shipping accuracy must be a minimum of 99.8%
  • Successful SQS audit reporting results with zero non-conformance
  • Achieve individual performance and personal development objectives




EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the following education and/or experience.

  • A high school diploma or GED is required
  • At least one year of warehouse experience, shipping and receiving, required
  • Forklift certification preferred
