Job Description

Our client, located in Belleville, NJ is adding a Facility Manager to the team.

In this role the ideal candidate will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Lead strategic planning, direction, and goal setting for the Facilities and Maintenance department as well as make process improvements
  • Repair and maintain all infrastructure and equipment
  • Develop and maintain schedules for preventative maintenance and ensure that facilities are inspected regularly to identify current and potential maintenance needs
  • Handle all maintenance and accurate records of the condition of essential facility equipment
  • Enter and complete work orders by logging actions and findings
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and policies as well as all federal, state, and local regulations and codes
  • Proper use and understanding of PPE, LOTO, GHS and Risk Management and keep records of all required permits and licensing pertaining to job role

Requirements for the position include:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred.
  • Experience in Logistics
  • Flexibility with regards to the work schedule; weekends may be required
