Warehouse Manager

Bilingual-Spanish is a must have for this role.
Established manufacturing facility in Secaucus, New Jersey is looking for a hands on Warehouse Manager. Daily responsibilities of this role include preparation and performance of site and individual team members in the day-to-day operation, responsible for inventory management and accuracy of all pick & pull order filling and warehouse activities.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop an effective team to achieve expected business results
  • Define, Create, Implement and communicate policies/procedures and monitor compliance
  • Oversee shipping and receiving personnel and activities
  • Creates and communicates employee work schedules; assigns workers to specific duties
  • Oversees both cycle and physical accounts and transfers reconciled inventory reports to Accounting
  • Schedules and instructs team members in proper safety procedures; maintains forklift driver certification program
  • Perform other functions or services as required or assigned.
  • Strong leadership and coaching experience
  • Supervisor experience of groups with people performing different tasks
  • Experience with creating reporting & analysis in MS Excel
  • Excellent communication skills

Minimum Job Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities):

  • 5-7 years supervisory experience, minimum 3 years warehouse supervision
  • Thorough understanding of warehouse operations
  • Ability to develop and achieve performance goals and objectives in the area of productivity, accuracy and cost
  • Strong math skills required
  • Able to establish priorities and obtain results
  • Maintains standards for people safety/security and warehouse activities/functions
  • Excellent communication skills including listening and follow-through
  • Able to operate in a high stress, dynamic environment.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
