Job Summary

The Workday Configuration Analyst is a member of the Corporate Human Resources team and will have responsibility for supporting and advancing the usage of the core Human Capital Management system (Workday). The Analyst serves as an HR Technology point of contact for HR functional areas and assists HR subject matter experts to identify, plan and implement systems and process improvements. The Analyst will have responsibility for the successful implementation, integration, configuration, and support of Workday applications from project initiation to production roll-out. The successful candidate will have business analyst experience gathering requirements, designing, delivering, and supporting business transformation using Workday in areas of HCM, Compensation, Performance & Goals Management, Time & Attendance, Absence Management, Recruiting, System Security, and Payroll

Essential Functions

* Deep understanding of the various Workday modules, including configuration, testing, and implementation for HCM, Comp, Recruiting, Payroll, Time & Attendance, and Security

* Develop and implement scalable, flexible solutions that are extensible to future business needs in areas of Workday HCM, Comp, Recruiting, Payroll, Time & Attendance, and Security

* Conduct working sessions with users to gather, understand, and analyze business requirements. Recommends solution(s) based on evaluation of best courses of action.

* Act as the first line of support to users to include: troubleshooting system issues, maintaining system structure data, assisting with ad-hoc reporting requests, and administering annual HR core Workday related processes, such as goal-setting, performance management, and compensation planning.

* Provide subject matter expertise on key business process decisions

* Advise stakeholders on industry standards/best practices to provide suggestions to achieve clean configuration and streamlined processes

* Design and implement requirements in Workday HCM, Compensation, Performance & Goals Management, Time & Attendance, Payroll, Absence Management, Recruiting, and System Security

* Work with developers, project managers, business analysts, and quality assurance staff to ensure that they fully understand the requirements, which includes reviewing high-level technical designs and detailed testing documentation

* Ensure the users takes advantage of Workday best practices

* Support Workday feature release updates and enhancements

* Develop, test, document, maintain, and support Workday interface solutions to share data with other applications Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to develop complex reports using functions, formulas, and/or macros

* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail

* Experience maintaining a high degree of discretion and sensitivity to confidential information

* Strong organization and time management skills required and the ability to react to quickly changing priorities

* A team player with the aptitude to work independently as well as cross-functionally

Minimum Education and Work Experience Required

* Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key responsibilities of the job

* 5 - 8 years of HRIS and data management experience in a SaaS environment

* 3 - 5 years of Workday experience
