Senior Cost Accountant POST NUMBER: 460045
We have been engaged by a large manufacturing company for a search for a Senior Cost Accountant to supporting multiple manufacturing plants. The Senior Cost Accountant will be responsible for supporting multiple plants with tasks that include: standard cost accounting, PPV (purchase price variance analysis), capitalizing labor and OH variances from standard, material variance analysis, review of Bill of Materials, inventory reserves and analysis, accounting, accruals, and month end close.
The right candidate for this Senior Cost Accountant will have:
- Bachelor's in Accounting
- 4 years of relevant plant/manufacturing accounting experience
- Strong understanding of standard cost accounting, PPV analysis, and inventory analysis in manufacturing setting
- CMA or CPA preferred
- Advanced/Expert level Excel proficiency is required for significant work with large datasets, spreadsheet analysis, etc.
- Preference given to those with SAP ERP system experience
- Track record of job stability is required for consideration for this opportunity.
