Financial Analyst – Specialty Insurance (Hybrid – Summit, NJ | Remote EST considered)
? $100,000–$110,000 5–10% Bonus
A growing specialty insurance group is looking for a Financial Analyst to join its expanding finance team. This is a great opportunity for someone with 1–3 years of accounting or FP&A experience who’s ready to dive into complex data, analytics, and reinsurance operations.
You’ll support the finance team with reporting, reconciliations, and data analysis that directly impact strategic decision-making. The company offers a modern, collaborative environment with excellent visibility and growth potential.
What You’ll Do:

Assist with monthly/quarterly close and management reporting

Prepare premium, loss, and commission entries

Reconcile claims and reinsurance activity

Support data reporting, dashboard development, and automation testing

Build Excel reporting templates and Power BI dashboards
What We’re Looking For:

Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field

1–3 years of accounting or financial analysis experience

Excel proficiency (PivotTables, SUMIFS, VLOOKUP); Power BI a plus

Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail

Experience in insurance or reinsurance a plus (not required)
