Responsibilities:

Manage and organize all client tax-related paperwork and digital files for individuals, businesses, and trusts.
Oversee client portals—uploading and categorizing documents, tracking outstanding items, and ensuring all files are ready for timely tax filings.
Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, advisors, and internal team members to provide updates and ensure a smooth tax preparation process.
Enter and verify tax data within preparation software; review imported information for accuracy and completeness.
Assemble finalized tax packages in compliance with current tax codes and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with Tax Managers on planning initiatives and prepare client-specific projections.
Prepare and communicate adjusting journal entries based on review findings.
Identify potential deductions, credits, and tax-saving opportunities tailored to client needs.
Review and help resolve IRS and state tax notices by coordinating data collection and assisting with issue resolution.
Maintain accurate, up-to-date records across CRM systems, tax software, and internal folders.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, CPA license a plus.
experience with proven ability to prepare tax returns for individual, S Corporations, Partnership and Trust tax returns.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and QuickBooks; experience with tax software (CCH AXCESS, TaxCaddy, ShareFile, DocuSign) preferred.
Excellent communication skills - verbal, written, and interperso
