We are hiring a Data Engineer (SQL/Snowflake) supporting large-scale ETL, data warehouse, and SaaS platform development. This 100% remote data engineering contract is ideal for experienced SQL developers, Snowflake engineers, and ETL specialists seeking impactful work in the healthcare technology space. - Contract Length: 6 months (Full-time)
- Location: Remote, Local to Nashville preference
- Compensation: 72/hr
Responsibilities
- Build and support enterprise-class database solutions and large-scale ETL/ELT processes
- Design and implement SaaS software solutions
- Perform system analysis, development, and testing
- Develop integrations with third-party platforms, applications, and APIs
- Work independently on complex engineering tasks
- Mentor junior and mid-level data engineers in best practices
- Create stored procedures, functions, and scalable database designs
Must-Have Qualifications
- 5 years developing enterprise database solutions, data warehouses, or large-scale ETL processes
- Strong SQL / Transact-SQL coding skills and best practices
- Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases (MySQL, MongoDB, Snowflake, etc.)
- Experience writing stored procedures and functions
- Experience with data modeling and database design
- Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines
- BA/BS in Computer Science or related field or equivalent enterprise experience
- Strong problem-solving skills and a self-motivated, team-oriented mindset
