Key Responsibilities

  • Re-design and modernize obsolete power and electromechanical systems to meet current safety and performance standards
  • Perform functional analysis, troubleshooting, and testing of power delivery and protection equipment
  • Develop and document test procedures, functional specifications, and engineering reports, often without original documentation
  • Support or lead failure analysis of electrical and electromechanical components
  • Collaborate with drafting and design teams on schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts
  • Design and execute test setups for power, protection, and control validation
  • Communicate directly with customers and suppliers to ensure technical accuracy and delivery quality
  • Grow into project leadership roles aligned with your technical strengths and interests

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Power Engineering, or related field (required)
  • Understanding of:
    • Circuit breakers and protective relays
    • Three-phase power systems
    • Higher voltage and current applications
  • Hands-on experience with electrical testing and troubleshooting
  • Excellent written documentation skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating in a small team environment
  • Experience in nuclear, utility, power generation, or other safety-critical industries is a plus
