General Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Enterprise Domain Architect with deep expertise in sales and marketing processes to join our Enterprise Architect and Data Team. This pivotal role represents a strategic fusion of business and technical architecture expertise, with a particular focus on optimizing the lead-to-quote value stream within the company's sales and marketing functions.

As an Enterprise Domain Architect specializing in sales and marketing, you will be at the forefront of transforming the company's customer engagement and revenue generation processes. Your comprehensive understanding of both business processes and technical systems, particularly within the context of this industry's unique sales cycle, will be crucial in designing, implementing, and overseeing an integrated architectural framework that revolutionizes our lead-to-quote journey.

Lead Generation and Qualification: Designing systems that leverage AI and machine learning to identify high-potential leads in this industry’s market, including OEMs, ODMs, and emerging IoT players. Account-Based Marketing (ABM): Architecting solutions that enable highly targeted, personalized marketing campaigns for key accounts in sectors like automotive, mobile, and industrial IoT. Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Implementing advanced CRM systems tailored to the long sales cycles and complex stakeholder relationships typical in the industry’s sales. Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ): Developing sophisticated CPQ systems that can handle the intricacies of the industry’s pricing, including volume-based pricing, long-term supply agreements, and dynamic market conditions. Sales Analytics and Forecasting: Creating data architectures and analytics platforms that provide real-time insights into sales pipelines, market trends, and accurate revenue forecasting for the company's diverse product portfolio.

Your expertise will be vital in navigating the unique challenges of the industry’s sales and marketing, including long design-in cycles, complex ecosystem partnerships, and the need for technical pre-sales support. You will play a key role in ensuring that the company’s sales and marketing architecture is agile enough to adapt to rapid technological advancements and changing market dynamics while maintaining our position as a trusted partner to our customers.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Identifying and documenting business capabilities, processes, and functions.
  • Developing and maintaining business architecture models, roadmaps, and standards.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to identify business needs and requirements.
  • Defining and implementing process improvement initiatives to optimize business performance.
  • Ensuring that business solutions align with the organization's overall strategic direction.
  • Monitoring and evaluating business performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Providing guidance and support to other departments and teams in the organization to ensure alignment with the overall business architecture.
  • Lead the formulation and execution of The company’s's enterprise application architecture strategy, aligning it with business objectives and technology evolution.
  • Design and guide the implementation of a scalable, secure, and efficient enterprise system architecture that supports the needs of the business, focusing on enhancing business processes and user experiences.
  • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to understand functional needs and translate these requirements into comprehensive architectural designs.
  • Evaluate and recommend application technologies (including SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS solutions) that enhance our agility, efficiency, and competitive edge.
  • Develop and maintain a roadmap for the evolution of the enterprise application portfolio, ensuring it remains aligned with business strategies and technology trends.
  • Advocate for and implement best practices in application development, deployment, and lifecycle management, including CI/CD, containerization, DevSecOps, and microservices architectures.
  • Define and enforce application architecture standards, policies, and procedures to ensure security, quality, and compliance across all applications.
  • Lead the analysis of existing application effectiveness and efficiency, and then develop strategies for improving or leveraging these systems.
  • Mentor and develop a team of application architects and developers, promoting a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous learning.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience: 15 years of experience in enterprise architecture, with a strong background in both business and application architecture, including leading enterprise-level application projects.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of this unique industry and its unique technological and business challenges.
  • Enterprise Architecture: Extensive knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman, FEAF) and their practical application. Strong understanding of BIZBOK concepts.
  • Business Process Modeling: Expertise in business process modeling, enterprise business architecture, and associated tools (e.g., BPMN, ArchiMate).
  • Application Development: Proficiency in designing and implementing scalable, high-performance enterprise application architectures. Deep expertise in various application development languages and frameworks (e.g., Java, Python, React, Angular).
  • Cloud Computing: Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and experience in architecting cloud-native and hybrid cloud solutions.
  • Data Architecture: Solid understanding of data architecture principles, including data mesh and data strategy concepts.
  • Modern Development Practices: Extensive experience with Agile methodologies, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native architectures.
  • Project Management: Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives. Familiarity with methodologies such as SAFe.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business needs into actionable architectural solutions.

  • Account-Based Marketing: Understanding of Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategies and experience in designing architectural solutions to support ABM initiatives.
