Title: Project Manager I 
Duration : 6 months, possible for extension
Work Environment: Hybrid, 3 days a week working in Mississauga office (Tue/Thu a must)
Hours: 37.5 Hours

Description:
PMO Support Level I

Reporting into the Delivery Lead, the candidate will act as a support person helping organize the delivery portfolio for the Data Office and all of the project initiatives within the Data Office working closely with the Scrum masters and broader data office stakeholders. Key responsibilities will include;

  • Manage the intake process for new initiatives;
  • Consolidate and track the Data Office budget for project initiatives and oversee/facilitate the initiative estimation process.
  • Manage the overall resource planning for the Data Office team
  • Facilitate the product backlog grooming process and help communicate priorities and expectations on dates;
  • Generate both standard and ad hoc delivery and budget reporting for the Data Office teams and leadership as requested;
  • Ensure risks and issues are consolidated and highlighted to leadership accordingly;
  • Will lead organizing the Data Office newsletter’s and Town Hall’s bring the whole team together

Skillset 

  • The successful candidate will be well organized and extremely effective in communications and stakeholder management.
  • Prior PMO support experience is a must
  • with strong PowerPoint and Excel skills.
  • The candidate should be a self starter and able to work independently ensuring tasks are completed on time and to expectations with clear escalations and or communication when issues occur.
  • Strong experience on budgeting and reporting is a must.
