Vaco Arizona is partnering with a well-established organization to hire a Payroll Analyst. This role is ideal for someone with experience in high-volume, multi-state payroll processing.

This is a contract-to-hire opportunity offering a hybrid schedule and a pay rate of up to $34 per hour.

Responsibilities

Process weekly payroll for 1,000–4,000 employees, including manual checks and adjustments
Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies
Review team payroll entries for accuracy and compliance
Respond to payroll inquiries and coordinate with managers and union representatives
Assist with internal and external payroll audits
Maintain organized payroll records and documentation
Manage payroll garnishments and agency communications
Coordinate with accounting and banks on direct deposits, positive pay, and voids

Required Qualifications

2 years of experience in a high-volume, full-cycle, multi-state payroll environment
Experience with UKG or similar payroll system
Proficient in Excel
