Senior Financial Analyst POST NUMBER: 473051
A high-growth, private equity-backed services company in Atlanta is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join its expanding finance team. This is a unique opportunity to work directly with the CFO as a strategic partner, helping to build and scale the FP&A function during a period of rapid growth and acquisition activity.
The Senior Financial Analyst will serve as a key contributor across all areas of FP&A, supporting strategic decision-making and driving financial visibility as the organization continues to scale. This role offers strong exposure to executive leadership and the opportunity to make a meaningful, measurable impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner closely with the CFO on all aspects of financial planning & analysis (FP&A)
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes
- Deliver financial reporting and variance analysis to support business decisions
- Manage and enhance cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning
- Develop and track KPIs and performance metrics across the business
- Build and maintain financial models to support growth initiatives and scenario analysis
- Create and enhance dashboard reporting (Power BI or similar tools)
- Support M&A activities, including modeling, diligence, and integration analysis
- Identify cost savings opportunities and drive operational efficiencies
- Lead process improvements and help scale FP&A infrastructure
- Perform ad hoc analysis for executive leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field (required); MBA preferred
- 3–5 years of progressive FP&A or finance experience
- Prior experience in a private equity-backed company strongly preferred
- Experience in a multi-unit environment (healthcare industry a plus)
- Advanced to expert-level Excel modeling skills
- Experience with Microsoft Power BI or similar BI tools
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
