A company in the Inland Empire is looking for an Accounting Manager to join their team. The Accounting Manager would be responsible for overseeing the general ledger, month-end close, reconciliations, and overseeing AP and AR. What do you need for this Accounting Manager role?
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
- 3 years of management experience
- 8 years of accounting experience
- Advanced Excel
- Experience in manufacturing or distribution aligned environment a plus
- Oversee operational accounting functions including AP and AR.
- Manage the monthly and year-end close process.
- Supervise and support accounting staff.
- Lead the effort to catch up and standardize account reconciliations, including bank and balance sheet accounts.
- Reconcile approximately accounts for year-end reporting and establish processes for ongoing monthly reconciliations.
- Manage bank reconciliations.
- Drive the cleanup and organization of financial records to strengthen accounting controls and reporting accuracy.
- Support ongoing initiatives to streamline data and accelerate billing processes.
- Serve as the primary liaison with the company’s external CPA firm conducting the organization’s first financial review.
- Support preparation of financial documentation and schedules required for the CPA review.
- Assist leadership with financial documentation required for facility acquisition and financing activities.
- Work closely with executive leadership and ownership on financial operations.
