A Westside CPA firm is looking for a Senior Tax Accountant to join their team due to the growth of the company. In this role, the Senior Tax Accountant will be responsible for doing 1120s, 1065s, LLCs, S corps, C corps, and preparing entity returns. What do you need for this Senior Tax Accountant role?
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
- 4 years of tax accounting experience
- CPA (active license or getting close)
- Advanced Excel
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and re
- Prepare and review complex tax returns, including 1120s, 1065s, S Corps, C Corps, LLCs, and entities
- Identify tax saving opportunities, deductions, and credits for clients
- Serve as primary point of contact for clients regarding tax-related matters, providing expert advice and guidance on tax implications and strategies
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations, conduct research on tax issues, and interpret their implications
- Assist in preparing for and responding to tax audits, representing their interests before tax authorities
- Collaborate with colleagues within the firm, including other accountant and tax professionals, to provide comprehensive financial services to clients
