Coda Configuration Analyst POST NUMBER: 474887
Core Responsibilities
Departmental Rollouts & "Coda Coaching"
- Template Deployment: Roll out the Architect-designed PMO templates to individual departments, configuring local views and dashboards that meet their specific operational needs.
- Implementation & Migration: Assist teams in moving their existing project lists into Coda, ensuring data is mapped correctly to the relational schema.
- Weekly Success Syncs: Lead recurring check-ins with department leads to troubleshoot friction points, ensure project data is being updated, and drive user adoption.
- Tier 1 Support: Act as the first line of defense for departmental users. You’ll fix "broken" views, resolve formula errors ($Filter()$, $Lookup()$, etc.), and troubleshoot automation triggers.
- Escalation: Identify complex structural issues that deviate from the master architecture and escalate them to the Coda Architect with clear technical notes.
- System Admin Doc: Build and maintain a "System Admin" doc within Coda that serves as the technical blueprint for the rollout.
- Architecture Mapping: Document how the "plumbing" works—including Cross-doc syncing, naming conventions, and the logic behind core formulas.
- End-User SOPs: Create simple, digestible process documentation within the Coda environment so departments can self-govern and onboard new staff independently.
The "Coda Polyglot": You don't need to be an architect, but you must be fluent in Coda. You should be comfortable with the Coda Formula Language (CFL), buttons, and configuring standard Packs (Outlook Mail, Outlook Calendar, Teams).
Process-First Mindset: You understand that a tool is only as good as the process it supports. You enjoy documenting "the why" and "the how."
PM Literate: You understand the basics of the project lifecycle (milestones, status reporting, and dependencies).
Empathetic Teacher: You have the patience to work with users who may be moving away from Excel for the first time and can explain technical concepts without the jargon.
Intermediate/Advanced Coda: Proficiency with relational tables, formulas, and canvas layouts.
Technical Writing: Ability to create clean, organized documentation within a Coda workspace.
Communication: Strong verbal and written skills for departmental training and architect-level escalation.
