Growth Product Manager (Finance Focus)
Location: On-site NYC
Salary: $175,000-250,000 plus equity

As a Growth Product Manager, you will help build and scale a critical function at the intersection of product, growth, and finance. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role where you’ll partner closely with product, sales, and go-to-market teams to drive enterprise deals, shape product direction, and build credibility with senior finance leaders.
You will serve as the accounting and finance subject matter expert—translating product capabilities into the language of CFOs and Controllers while influencing how finance-related product offerings evolve. You’ll operate with a high degree of ownership, tackling ambiguous problems, advancing strategic deals, and helping define how the organization succeeds with finance buyers.
Key Responsibilities
Own finance-facing sales support
  • Partner with Sales and Account Executives on enterprise and strategic deals as the accounting/finance expert
  • Lead tailored product demonstrations for CFOs, Controllers, and Finance leaders, translating platform capabilities into clear accounting workflows and business outcomes
  • Act as a bridge between technical product capabilities and real-world finance operations
Serve as the credibility layer for finance stakeholders
  • Engage directly with CFOs, VPs of Finance, and Controllers to build trust in the product’s accounting rigor
  • Confidently address detailed accounting and workflow topics such as:
    • Intercompany eliminations
    • Bank reconciliation processes
    • Period close workflows
    • Audit readiness and internal controls
  • Position the platform as a reliable system for accuracy, compliance, and scalability
Shape product through customer insight
  • Translate customer feedback, objections, and workflow gaps into actionable product recommendations
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to refine finance-related features and inform roadmap priorities
  • Help define best-in-class accounting workflows within the product
Drive go-to-market strategy for finance solutions
  • Support positioning, messaging, and enablement for finance-specific use cases
  • Build demo environments, playbooks, and repeatable narratives for engaging finance teams
  • Enable broader go-to-market teams to confidently communicate with accounting and finance stakeholders
What You’ll Bring
  • Background in accounting or finance (e.g., Controller, Accounting Manager, or similar roles), ideally in a high-growth or tech-enabled environment
  • Experience working at or closely with technology companies (e.g., fintech, ERP, or accounting software)
  • Strong understanding of core accounting workflows (close, reconciliations, consolidations, controls)
  • Ability to translate between finance, product, and technical stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build credibility with senior finance leaders
  • Highly autonomous and comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
  • Builder mindset with a strong interest in shaping new functions and influencing product direction
  • Willingness to work in-person in a collaborative office environment
