Our client, a well-established and profitable company in the industrial technology sector, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support financial planning, analysis, and strategic decision-making.
Location:
San Leandro, CA. This position follows a hybrid work schedule, 4 days/week in the office.
Job Description:
This role will partner closely with cross-functional leaders to analyze performance, support forecasting and planning activities, and prepare insights for senior leadership. The ideal candidate is analytical, proactive, and comfortable operating in a lean, fast-moving environment.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze key financial metrics, including revenue, costs, operating expenses, and capital expenditures
- Support forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning activities
- Partner with business leaders to evaluate performance and provide actionable financial insights
- Prepare executive-level reporting, presentations, and analytical materials
- Support pricing analysis and cost/volume modeling initiatives
- Evaluate capital investment opportunities and support business case development
- Lead or support cross-functional initiatives aimed at improving efficiency and financial performance
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related quantitative field
- 4 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or a related role
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
- Ability to interpret financial statements and performance drivers
- Strong communication skills and experience partnering with senior stakeholders
