RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for performing the day- to-day financial reporting and schedule preparation.
- Routine communication with Supervisors relating to financial close, issues and deliverables.
- Prepare schedules and related workpapers in support of the quarterly OCC, Federal Reserve and SEC filings, including the FR Y-9C, FR Y-9LP, FFIEC 041 Call Reports filing, ensuring compliance consistent with the Company’s control environment.
- Prepare all Financial Reporting requirements package.
- Perform Balance Sheet account reconciliations, account analysis, accrual calculations, and other related accounting documents/schedules.
- Prepare the regulatory capital ratios in accordance with regulatory requirements. Analyze and explain differences period over period for reporting to senior management.
- Review and research accounting transactions to correct errors.
- Monitor external changes to GAAP and RAP as well as internal changes resulting from business transactions that impact regulatory reporting and execute the regulatory change management procedures, including managing and executing the implementation of new financial reporting requirements.
- Communicate and escalate issues to Management Team as required.
- Maintain policies and procedures and utilize best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics or equivalent combination of experience and education;
- Extensive SEC/bank regulatory reporting accounting experience.
- Proficiency in Excel (must have)
