Senior PeopleSoft Analyst – Accounts Payable & pCard (FSCM)
Location: Remote
Type: 2–3 Year Contract
Compensation: Starting around $70/hr (flexible for the right candidate)
Schedule: Full-Time, Central Time business hours
We're looking for a PeopleSoft Financials professional who has spent significant time working with Accounts Payable and pCard modules and enjoys solving business process problems within a large ERP environment.
This role supports a major enterprise ERP program and will focus on keeping Accounts Payable and procurement card operations running smoothly while broader modernization efforts move forward. The work is heavily centered around PeopleSoft FSCM and requires someone who can work independently, troubleshoot issues, and partner with business users across multiple functional areas.
If you've been the go-to person for AP and pCard in PeopleSoft, this is likely the kind of role you'll feel comfortable stepping into on day one.
What You'll Be Doing
- Serve as the primary functional resource for PeopleSoft Accounts Payable and pCard
- Support voucher processing, payment cycles, matching exceptions, and reconciliation activities
- Configure and maintain AP business rules, payment terms, withholding, and 1099 functionality
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across AP and pCard processes
- Work closely with Purchasing, General Ledger, and Commitment Control teams on integration-related issues
- Support month-end and year-end financial processing activities
- Assist with testing for system updates, patches, and enhancements
- Create and maintain functional documentation and operating procedures
- Provide knowledge transfer and support to internal users and support teams
What We're Looking For
- 5 years of hands-on PeopleSoft Financials (FSCM) experience
- Strong experience supporting Accounts Payable and procurement card processes
- Deep understanding of:
- Voucher processing
- Payment processing
- Matching
- Withholding and 1099 reporting
- pCard administration and reconciliation
- Experience with PeopleSoft integrations involving:
- General Ledger
- Purchasing
- Commitment Control
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Nice to Have
- Public sector ERP experience
- Large enterprise ERP support experience
- PeopleSoft upgrades or patch testing experience
- Experience documenting business processes and functional requirements
- Previous experience supporting statewide or multi-agency ERP environments
