About Our Client
Our client is sourcing a Financial Analyst, FP&A, for a 6-month contract. This role will be responsible for guiding financial direction through planning, analysis, and decision support. This role focuses on evaluating performance, building projections, and working closely with different teams to improve results and inform strategy.
About the Opportunity
- Manage planning cycles, including short- and long-term outlooks
- Analyze performance trends and explain key drivers behind results
- Create and refine tools to support projections and scenario evaluation
- Deliver regular updates and insights to leadership
- Work with cross-functional teams to link financial outcomes to operational activity
- Support decision-making through data-driven insights and modeling
- Improve processes, reporting, and systems for better efficiency
About You
- Degree in a business-related field (finance, accounting, economics, etc.)
- Early-career experience in financial analysis or similar role
- Strong spreadsheet and analytical capabilities
- Understanding of core financial concepts and reporting
- Experience with data/reporting tools or systems is a plus
- Progress toward professional designation (e.g., accounting/finance) is an asset
