POSITION SUMMARY:
Work closely with e-commerce sales teams supporting major online retail accounts to provide strategic analysis and operational support across inventory planning, order fulfillment, forecasting, promotional execution, and reporting. Assist with digital product content and item setup across multiple platforms, as well as the preparation and maintenance of recurring business reports.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support e-commerce sales teams with data, reporting, and ongoing analysis to identify and execute growth opportunities across key online retail channels. Reporting includes metrics such as inventory coverage, product availability, profitability, performance trends, traffic, pricing, and other key indicators.
- Partner with internal teams to monitor inventory levels and proactively support replenishment planning for online marketplace channels. Track aging inventory and assist in resolving catalog or listing discrepancies.
- Analyze promotional performance and provide recommendations to improve future campaign effectiveness.
- Assist with demand forecasting by maintaining and updating projections within internal systems, ensuring alignment with sales trends, promotions, product launches, and discontinuations.
- Generate trend reports and conduct analyses to identify shifts in product demand, recommend forecast adjustments, and troubleshoot performance variances.
- Provide operational support to resolve customer-related issues and platform alerts. Execute new product setups and maintain accuracy of pricing, packaging, and product specifications within internal and external systems.
- Support digital content management and product data synchronization across third-party platforms.
- Prepare ad hoc reports and analyses, including summaries of shipments, sales performance, inventory levels, and product history for planning and budgeting purposes.
- Assist with cross-functional projects and provide backup support for key sales initiatives as needed.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree required, along with up to five years of relevant experience in a consumer products or e-commerce environment, preferably in an analytical, operations, or reporting-focused role.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments. High attention to detail, organization, and accuracy are critical. Demonstrated analytical skills with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving and driving business results.
