Senior Accounting Manager POST NUMBER: 478023
The Senior Accounting Manager serves as a strategic leader within the finance department, overseeing the total lifecycle of A/P and A/R operations. This role focuses on liquidity optimization, multi-entity financial reporting, and the integration of ERP systems. You will act as a key advisor to executive leadership, providing data-driven insights into cash flow and operational risk.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise the A/P and A/R teams, establishing high-performance KPIs and implementing robust internal controls to mitigate risk and resolve complex legacy balances.
- Optimize daily cash sheets and forecasting models to guarantee liquidity for multi-million dollar payroll cycles, vendor obligations, and capital expenditures.
- Lead the reconciliation and high-level analysis of third-party contracts, ensuring complex revenue sharing and invoice processing are executed with 100% accuracy.
- Own the preparation of annual ASC 842 lease accounting schedules for a diverse real estate portfolio to support external audits.
- Lead finance workflows for expense management and ACH/Wire payments.
- Produce executive-level A/R aging reports and payment schedules.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CMA designation preferred.
- 7 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership or departmental management role
- Strong Microsoft Excel
- Proficiency in Sage Intacct and Sage 300
- Strong background in cash flow forecasting and liquidity management.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and specialized knowledge of ASC 842 lease accounting standards.
- Knowledge of Visa Spend Clarity and ACH platforms
