About the Role
A global, private equity-backed organization within the healthcare and life sciences services space is seeking a Senior Manager, Global FP&A. This role provides strategic financial leadership and decision support to senior leadership, with ownership of corporate FP&A, business partnering, and global SG&A reporting.
The position partners closely with HR, Quality, and Scientific Solutions leadership and supports financial performance, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency across a complex, global business. The organization is open to a range of titles for the right candidate, including Manager, Senior Manager, or Associate Director of Finance.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise senior leadership on financial strategies, risks, and regulatory impacts
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes across the business
- Manage financial performance across business units or client portfolios
- Provide financial insights and reporting to support strategic decision-making
- Partner with business leaders on operational and financial initiatives
- Lead and develop high-performing finance teams, including hiring, coaching, and performance management
- Identify process improvements and implement change management initiatives
- Strengthen internal stakeholder relationships through financial leadership and service delivery
- Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and performance standards
- Support special projects and strategic initiatives as needed
Qualifications - Required
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 7 plus years of relevant finance and accounting experience
- Experience with a major planning tool required; priority given to candidates with Adaptive Planning
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, forecasting, and operational finance
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to operate effectively in a complex, fast-paced, global environment
Qualifications - Preferred
- CPA or equivalent designation
- Public accounting experience with industry pivot
- Experience in a services-based or contract-driven organization (CRO, life sciences services, or similar a plus)
- Familiarity with ASC 606 and contract-based revenue concepts
- International or global company experience
- People management experience
