Position Summary:
The Senior Accountant will play a key role in the month-end close process, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and maintaining the integrity of the general ledger. This individual will partner closely with the Controller and other business leaders to ensure accurate financial reporting and support ongoing process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
- Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities
- Maintain general ledger accuracy and ensure compliance with accounting policies
- Assist with financial statement preparation and management reporting
- Analyze financial results and investigate variances
- Support external audits and year-end financial reporting requirements
- Assist with revenue recognition and project accounting activities
- Partner with operational teams to ensure accurate financial data and reporting
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and efficiencies
- Support special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 4 years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong understanding of GAAP and month-end close processes
- Experience with general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with ERP systems
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate across departments
- Experience within construction, project-based, engineering, infrastructure, or SaaS environments
- Exposure to percentage-of-completion accounting, project accounting, or ASC 606 revenue recognition
- CPA or CPA-track preferred but not required
- Prior experience mentoring junior staff or leading projects
