Accounts Receivable Specialist – Contract (6 Months - potential for extension)
Onsite | Greensboro, NC
Vaco is partnering with a growing manufacturing client to hire an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist for a 6-month contract assignment. This is a hands-on AR role supporting a busy accounting team and is ideal for someone with strong cash application, collections, deductions, and account reconciliation experience.
What You'll Do:
- Full-cycle Accounts Receivable and cash application
- Manage deductions, chargebacks, and dispute resolution
- Generate aging reports and perform account reconciliations
- Research and resolve unapplied cash
- Communicate directly with customers regarding account issues
- Partner with internal teams to resolve complex AR matters
What We're Looking For:
- 3 years of Accounts Receivable experience
- Strong cash application and deduction management skills
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables)
- ERP experience (Dynamics 365 preferred)
- Manufacturing or high-volume B2B experience is a plus
