- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to surface insights and recommendations that drive clinic-level and overall company growth and profitability.
- Play a key role in the annual budgeting and forecasting processes for individual clinics.
- Serve as a day-to-day financial resource for Regional Operations leaders, translating financial data into actionable guidance.
- Build effective working relationships with operational stakeholders to understand business drivers and surface financial risks and opportunities.
- Collaborate with operational teams on performance improvement initiatives, with a focus on labour optimization and cost efficiency.
- Prepare detailed financial analyses including variance analysis, trend analysis, and scenario modelling to support decision-making.
- Support the development and maintenance of KPI dashboards to monitor clinic-level financial and operational performance.
- Proactively identify financial risks and opportunities and escalate findings with recommended courses of action.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts across financial processes, reporting tools, and systems.
- Take ownership of assigned workstreams with a high degree of independence while maintaining strong communication with the Senior Manager.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or economics or related discipline
- Minimum 3 to 4 years of previous accounting, finance
- CFA or CPA is a strong asset
- Proven strong financial modeling skills
- Advanced knowledge in MS Excel
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Power BI
- Basic knowledge of developing query/coding for data analytics, such as SQL, DAX, etc.
- Ability to communicate (written and verbal) effectively with all levels of management
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, organize and report information
- Ability to work independently but as a part of a team
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- You’re comfortable working in a pet friendly environment, when visiting the office
Salary Range
$90,000 - $100,000 / year
