Bilingual Payroll Specialist (English/Spanish)
Location: Secaucus, NJ
We are partnering with a well-established organization in the Secaucus, NJ area to identify a detail-oriented Bilingual Payroll Specialist to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has experience managing end-to-end payroll processes using ADP Workforce Now.
Key Responsibilities
- Process accurate and timely payroll using ADP Workforce Now
- Review and edit employee timesheets using ADP Workforce Manager
- Process employee payroll changes, direct deposits, bonuses, commissions, and manual checks
- Administer court-ordered deductions and other payroll withholdings
- Respond to employee and management payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare payroll reports, W-2s, employment verifications, and unemployment requests
- Generate weekly and monthly payroll reports for HR using Excel
- Submit payroll funding requests for 401(k) and Credit Union contributions
- Assist with independent driver payments, reporting, and other payroll-related activities
- Maintain strict confidentiality of payroll and employee information
- Support additional payroll and accounting functions as needed
Qualifications
- Must be bilingual in English and Spanish
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and payroll experience
- Minimum of 2 years of payroll experience
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now is required
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience handling confidential information in a professional manner
